Overview
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and high-quality care to individuals in both care home and home care settings. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. This position requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of those they care for.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients in maintaining their independence by helping with mobility and daily activities.
• Implement and follow care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behaviour to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with team members.
• Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.

Skills

• Proficient in English with strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to understand and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communication purposes.
• A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients as needed.
