Current Opportunities Health Care Assistant – Nights

Fixed-Term Maternity Cover (6 Months)

  • 36 hours per week
  • £13.70 per hour + weekend enhancements

Health Care Assistant – Days

  • 24–36 hours per week
  • £13.70 per hour +weekend enhancements

Senior Night Health Care Assistant

  • 36 hours per week
  • £14.20 per hour + weekend enhancements
  • Leadership responsibilities

What You’ll Do

As a valued member of our care team, you’ll support residents to live comfortably, safely and with dignity.

You will assist with:

  • Personal care and daily living activities
  • Mobility and physical wellbeing
  • Nutrition and hydration
  • Dementia care and emotional wellbeing
  • Nursing and palliative care support
  • Companionship and meaningful engagement

You’ll also:

  • Monitor residents’ wellbeing and report concerns
  • Complete care records and documentation
  • Work closely with nurses and colleagues
  • Help maintain a safe, calm and welcoming environment

Senior Night Health Care Assistant

The Senior Night HCA role is ideal for an experienced carer ready to take the next step in their career.

Alongside providing excellent care, you will:

  • Support and guide care staff during night shifts
  • Assist with shift coordination and delegation
  • Work closely with nurses to maintain high standards
  • Help ensure the smooth and safe running of the home overnight
  • Act as a positive role model for the wider team

About You – We are looking for people who are:

  • Passionate about supporting older people

Experience

  • Previous care experience is desirable but not essential for Health Care Assistant roles
  • Senior care experience is preferred for the Senior Night Health Care Assistant position
