FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support to our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring smooth technology operations across the company. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your technical expertise in a dynamic environment, supporting staff and enhancing overall productivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment
• Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving faults
• Respond to help desk requests in a timely and professional manner
• Set up remote user accounts, permissions, and passwords
• Support remote clients over the calls.
• Monitor system performance and ensure security and efficiency
• Maintain documentation of systems, issues, and resolutions
• Assist in IT projects such as upgrades, migrations, and deployments
• Provide basic training and guidance to users on IT systems and tools

Skills

• Proven experience in IT support or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and common software applications
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Familiarity with help desk systems and remote support tools
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
