What will you be doing?

The role of and Adult Care Worker is varied, but your main responsibilities will include:

– Encouraging clients to be as independent as reasonably possible.

– Assisting with the administering of medication.

– Following your clients care plan to ensure the best quality care is provided.

– Providing support and companionship to your clients.

– Assisting with personal care.

– Manual handling and using specialist equipment.

– Assisting with food preparation.

We are looking for empathetic individuals who enjoy working with others to join our team. We don’t mind if you have not worked in the sector before, we provide full training and a shadowing period for all new starters to ensure you are comfortable and ready to work in community.

We also give you ongoing training, which can include our fully funded NVQ program, qualifying you up to level 5! If you have aspirations to progress, we will support that, a lot of our managers and office team started out working in community and have worked their way up.

In return we are offering:

-A fixed, week 1, week 2 rota that works for you, you will know what hours you can expect to work, no drops in hours or random day changes, this schedule will include working 1 weekend out of the 2 weeks.

-Fully paid visit times, we don’t pay minute by minute, if your visit is scheduled for 30 minutes, you will be paid for 30 minutes.

-Paid travel time between appointments, your time is as important to us as it is to you, so we pay you for travelling between your calls.

-A joining bonus of £1,000

-Proud to Care bonus, worth up to £1,400 per year, paid in 6 month intervals, exclusive to strategic providers in the area.

-Paid Mileage home from your last call at 45p per mile exclusive to Access Your Care

-Paid mileage between your visits worth up to £1,900 per year

-Receive double pay on Bank Holidays – at £25.20 per hour
