Role Description

This part-time role, with the potential to transition to full-time, offers an exciting opportunity for a Student Support Officer to join the Student Support team at Ducere Global Business School. This is a fully remote position, dedicated to delivering outstanding service to our students.

The Student Support Officer will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and technical support
  • Analysing and resolving student issues promptly
  • Maintaining clear, effective communication
  • Assisting students with academic and administrative needs

The role involves daily interaction with students, ensuring they receive the guidance and support required to have a positive and successful educational journey.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the student support inbox, responding promptly to enquiries and escalating issues to the Academic Leadership team or Student Support Manager when required
  • Serve as the first point of contact for students globally, ensuring a positive and supportive experience
  • Monitor student success and engagement, identifying and addressing areas of concern
  • Process and manage assignment extension requests, ensuring all documentation is accurately filed
  • Proactively contact students regarding grades, feedback, assignment reminders, and sharing exemplar work
  • Maintain accurate records through spreadsheets, project plans, and other tracking tools
  • Oversee administration throughout the student recruitment and retention cycle, including onboarding, offer letters, starter documentation, and exit interviews
  • Host weekly student drop-in sessions via Microsoft Teams
  • Monitor drop-out rates, identify at-risk students, and take follow-up action as needed
  • Support finance processes by following up on student payment reminders
  • Create and update Ducere collateral, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Maintain and update the online Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Track student progression and generate analytical reports
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain records
  • Undertake additional duties as required to support the team and students

  • Experience in an educational setting is a plus
  • A bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Communication, or a related field is desirable

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Proficient in using Google Drive and apps.
  • Experience with the Canvas learning management system (preferred).
  • Experience with Asana (preferred).

Experience:

  • Minimum three years of administration experience (required).
  • Two years of experience with remote working (preferred).
