Summary
Ruby Chinese Takeaway Shop is expanding and we are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development & Sales Manager to help grow our presence in the local food and catering market. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 Food Catering Certificate (or equivalent in food management), bring strong experience in sales or business development, and be fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Vietnamese. This role combines sales performance with strategic market development you will not only identify and close new opportunities, but also build lasting partnerships that strengthen Ruby Chinese Takeaway Shop’s reputation in the community and beyond. Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities within the local food market
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and local businesses
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support growth strategies
  • Promote Ruby Chinese Takeaway Shop’s services to restaurants, wholesalers, and catering partners
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards across all business activities
  • Develop and implement tailored business and sales strategies
  • Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and local business forums
  • Provide regular performance reports on sales targets, progress, and pipeline development

Experience

  • Food Catering Level 3 Certificate (or equivalent in food management)
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Vietnamese (spoken)
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in sales, business development, or food service management
  • Strong understanding of local food market trends and customer needs
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and confident in achieving sales targets
  • Valid work authorization for the United Kingdom (Visa sponsorship available)What We Offer
