Overview
We are a friendly and welcoming specialist orthodontic practice looking for a motivated and caring Dental Nurse to join our team.

Requirements:

  • Dental nursing qualification (equivalent to UK standards)
  • Good level of English (IELTS may be required for registration)
  • Willingness to relocate and work in the UK
  • Commitment to patient care and professional development

Who we are looking for:

  • A qualified, GDC-registered Dental Nurse (or on track to register)
  • Professional, reliable and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills
  • A strong focus on delivering outstanding patient care
  • Experience in orthodontics is desirable but not essential—full training will be provided

Overseas-qualified dentists (BDS) currently based in the UK who are seeking sponsorship and a pathway to develop their careers within dental nursing/orthodontics are welcome to apply.

Duties

  • Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Provide compassionate patient care, addressing any concerns or questions patients may have.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems (Dentally), ensuring all information is up-to-date and confidential.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients.
  • Ensure the dental surgery is clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to enhance overall patient experience and treatment outcomes.

Requirements

  • Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications, and willingness to undertake some reception and treatment co-ordination dutes if required.
  • Strong patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients’ needs.
  • Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in IT systems related to dental practice management.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Previous experience in a dental setting is advantageous but not essential.
