What to expect
As an Application Tester, you will join us on our journey and undertake a truly valuable role, responsible for ensuring that all testing undertaken by Post Office Insurance and associated third party providers is robust, comprehensive and fit for purpose.
You will do this by helping to define the overall test strategy, agreeing scope and accountability and undertaking testing to validate the end-to-end customer journey. As part of this role, you will utilise your technical ability to write, maintain and execute test scripts to prove our systems meet requirements as well as customer and business needs.

What you’ll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Application Tester with strong manual testing experience and experience of testing web-based applications. In addition to this, you will possess:
- First-class communication skills with the ability to collaborative and influence
- Proven experience of test analysis within System User Acceptance Testing within projects and small change
- An understanding of SQL Databases and scripts
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to be able to apply these to business requirements to draw out key test criteria.
- Strong testing management skills, ability to work within a defined framework covering testing processes and standards.
- Knowledge of Financial Services industry (ideally within Insurance) and products/processes
