FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching & Learning Student Experience Assistant to join the Student Support and Wellbeing Team in the School of Social Sciences, Faculty of Humanities.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the wellbeing and development of our students by delivering high quality administrative and front line support within the SOSS Student Support Hub. This includes (but is not limited to): acting as the first point of contact for student support and wellbeing queries, signposting students to appropriate University services and further support, supporting the planning and delivery of wellbeing events and campaigns, involvement in associated student experience and support-related administrative processes and tasks.
This is a student facing role requiring a compassionate and proactive individual who is committed to delivering an excellent student experience. We welcome applications from anyone with strong administrative and communication skills, as well as a genuine interest in supporting student wellbeing. Applicants should be confident using Microsoft 365 applications, able to work collaboratively in a team, and committed to upholding the University’s values of inclusivity and a student-centred service.
