Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing assistance and support to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and other professionals.
Duties
- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry, documenting client progress and needs.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other team members to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
- Utilise phone etiquette when interacting with clients and stakeholders.
- Assist in upselling services or products that may benefit clients.
- Analyse client needs and develop tailored support plans.
- Foster a positive environment that encourages independence and self-esteem among clients.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
Experience
- Previous experience in a support or care role is advantageous but not essential.
- Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Spanish or other languages is highly desirable, particularly for bilingual or multilingual candidates.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse groups.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges within the role.
- Experience in data entry is beneficial for maintaining accurate client records.
