About Us:

At Pinewood Residential Home, we provide exceptional, personalised care for our 33 residents. Our dedicated team creates a warm, friendly, and nurturing environment where residents enjoy respect, dignity, and quality of life. We are now seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to lead our care team.

Certificates of Sponsorship:

We are pleased to offer Certificates of Sponsorship for eligible candidates already residing in the UK who require visa sponsorship to work legally.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strong leadership and guidance to our dedicated care team, ensuring consistently high standards of care.
• Safely administer medication and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Develop, review, and update personalised care plans and risk assessments.
• Communicate effectively with GPs, nurses, external healthcare professionals, and residents’ families.
• Support residents to maintain balanced nutrition and hydration.
• Uphold our home’s commitment to exceptional hygiene, safety, and care standards.
• Promote the health, well-being, and independence of our residents.

Skills and Qualities Needed:

• Previous experience as a Care Assistant or Senior Care Assistant, ideally in elderly care.
• Leadership experience or the ability to confidently guide and supervise a team.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care preferred (support available to achieve Level 3).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathetic, respectful, and genuinely passionate about providing high-quality care.
• Able to work effectively both independently and within a supportive team environment.
