About the Role
We are seeking a Part Time Admin Assistant to join our dedicated and dynamic growing team to contribute to our business located in Bonnybridge. This is an exciting opportunity for some who ideally has experience in the construction industry and has worked in a busy office or procurement department. Hours are up to 25 per week, Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 2.30pm each day. However, these could be negotiated for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily office operations, including answering phone calls and greeting visitors with professionalism.
- Liaise with project team & suppliers to ensure efficient and accurate procurement.
- Assist in ordering materials and equipment for all projects & works.
- Maintain records of supplier details and pricing information.
- Hiring plant as required and ensuring records are maintained of all plant on & off hire.
- Support Admin team with daily operational and financial processes & functions.
- Collaborate with team members to support various administrative projects as needed.
- Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office.
- Help with invoices, purchase orders, and expense tracking.
- Gain hands-on experience with key construction industry software such as Elite Contract Costing Software and MS Project.
- Learn about M&E systems, construction processes, and compliance requirements.
- Shadow senior administrators to develop knowledge and skills for career progression.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous administrative and purchasing experience.
- Familiarity with construction industry would be beneficial.
- Excellent phone manner and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop in an office/construction environment.
