FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Builder to join our growing construction team. This role involves working on a variety of domestic projects, including extensions, refurbishments, and general building works. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across multiple construction trades such as masonry, carpentry, roofing, and basic electrical work. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship are essential.

Due to the nature of our client base, fluency in Gujarati, Hindi, or Urdu is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair structures using wood, bricks, blocks, and stone
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Perform roofing, painting, and finishing tasks as required
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Carry out masonry and carpentry work to high standards
• Perform minor electrical and basic plumbing tasks when needed
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards
• Work collaboratively with other tradespeople to meet project deadlines
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Builder or in a similar role within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of masonry, carpentry, and general construction techniques
• Ability to use relevant tools and read construction plans and technical drawings
• Excellent physical fitness; capable of lifting and moving materials
• Strong problem-solving abilities and initiative on-site
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Driving licence is preferred
• Fluency in Gujarati, Hindi, or Urdu (to support communication with our predominantly Asian client base)
• Willingness to comply with all health and safety requirements on-site

• Visa Sponsorship: Available under the Skilled Worker route (1-year initial sponsorship with potential for extension)
