We are seeking a dedicated IT Support professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. This role requires a strong customer service orientation and the ability to troubleshoot various IT issues effectively. Responsibilities
- Provide first-line support for IT-related issues via help desk channels, ensuring timely resolution of incidents.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware problems, including operating systems and applications.
- Assist with the configuration and maintenance of Windows Server environments.
- Manage computer networking tasks, including LAN setup and maintenance.
- Support Linux systems as required, ensuring operational efficiency.
- Utilise Jira for tracking issues and managing project workflows effectively.
- Configure DNS settings and troubleshoot related connectivity issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support requests and resolutions in the help desk system.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with users to understand their needs.
Skills
- Proficient in software troubleshooting across various platforms.
- Strong understanding of computer networking principles, particularly LAN configurations.
- Experience with Windows Server management is essential.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of DNS configuration and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Experience using help desk software, preferably Jira or similar tools.
