FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our takeaway establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The Shop Manager will be pivotal in managing the daily operations of our takeaway, ensuring that all aspects of the business function smoothly and efficiently.
We are also recruiting overseas candidates, as a Tier 2 sponsorship is available for this role
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management: Direct supervision of daily operations, coordinating between kitchen and front-of-house to ensure seamless service delivery.
Staff Management: Recruitment, training, and management of staff. Creating comprehensive work schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels that meet operational needs without overspending.
Customer Service: Development and implementation of customer service strategies to enhance customer satisfaction. Managing and resolving customer complaints with professionalism and in a manner that maintains customer loyalty.
Inventory Control: Strategic management of food and non-food inventory. Negotiating with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining our standards for quality. Routine stock audits and adjustments to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
Financial Management: Oversight of financial transactions, including sales reporting, cash handling, and financial record-keeping. Development of budgets and financial strategies to boost profitability.
Marketing and Promotion: Planning and executing marketing campaigns to attract new customers and increase brand loyalty among existing ones. Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies as needed.
Compliance and Safety: Ensuring all operations comply with health and safety regulations, local council requirements, and food hygiene standards. Regular training for staff on compliance matters.
Problem Solving: Dynamic problem-solving skills to handle operational challenges, unexpected situations, and emergencies without disrupting the service.
