FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for senior care, demonstrating the ability to follow care plans and work effectively as part of a team.

Duties

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility support.
• Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise and support junior staff members, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Maintain accurate records of resident progress and any changes in their condition.
• Drive residents to appointments or social activities as required.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance IT skills related to care management systems.
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety within the care home environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in senior care or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate others effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with residents and team members.
• A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting residents as needed.
• Familiarity with care plans and the ability to implement them accurately.
• A caring attitude with a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents in your care.

Ability to commute/relocate:

England, WR11 1GP: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
