About the role

As the Driver Technician for Medequip Assistive Technologies, you will be delivering and installing health-related products. This is not just a delivery and installation role, you will be pivotal in providing life-enhancing equipment, a second-to-none customer service experience and assurance that Medequip are a trusted and reliable organization.

  • This role will require you to work flexibly to suit the needs of the business as well as being able to participate in an emergency on-call rota.
  • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
  • Driving to customer’s homes, acting in a respectful, polite, and approachable manner
  • Delivering, collecting, installing, and repairing healthcare equipment
  • Demonstrating the use and functionality of the equipment to our customers
  • Delivering exceptional customer-facing service with care, empathy, integrity and kindness
  • Basic DIY tasks
  • Be flexible with working days/hours to suit the needs of the business.
  • Participate in an emergency on-call rota.
  • Enhancing the lives of our customers by providing medical and care equipment and a first-class service with every home visit.

Qualifications and experience required.

  • You must have a full UK driving licence (minimum of 3 years)
  • Work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Be flexible with working days/hours to suit the needs of the business and participate in an emergency on-call rota.
