Role
We are seeking a visionary Email Marketing Strategist with creativity and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate is passionate about advancing their skills in email marketing, both in strategic planning and execution. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our clients by enhancing their campaigns, managing communications, and conducting thorough analyses for improvement.
Responsibilities Will Include
- Incremental Revenue Generation: Develop and implement email & SMS marketing strategies to help brands increase revenue.
- Client Retention: Serve as the primary point of contact, fostering long-term client relationships and ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Strategic Roadmap Development: Create and follow client-specific retention marketing roadmaps focused on driving incremental revenue across campaigns, automated flows, and list growth.
- KPI Improvement: Consistently enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) such as list growth, revenue, deliverability, and engagement.
- Campaign Management: Develop and execute a monthly email and SMS campaign calendar for clients, optimizing campaign performance through regular review and testing of content strategy, copywriting, design, and segmentation.
- Strategy & Creative Alignment: Write strategy briefs for copywriters and designers to ensure campaigns and flow creatives are in-line with the strategic objectives proposed.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and analyze campaign performance, provide actionable insights, and adjust strategies to improve results.
- Collaboration: Work with project managers, copywriters, designers, and other team members to ensure that deliverables adhere to strategic goals.
- Client Communication: Conduct regular meetings with clients to review progress, consistently align on objectives, and refine strategies based on performance data.
- Accountability and Reporting: Take full responsibility for improving account KPIs, providing transparent and comprehensive reports on campaign and flow performance, and ensuring all strategies are data-driven and focused on achieving measurable improvements.
- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in e-commerce and marketing to deliver innovative solutions to clients.
- Continuous Optimization: Analyze and optimize campaign and automated flow performance across retention channels to continuously drive incremental results.
- Client Revision Requests: Manage client revisions and requests promptly and efficiently.
- Quality Assurance: Perform quality assurance on all internal outputs before client submission.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of agency experience working on email & SMS marketing for e-commerce brands.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with Klaviyo.
- Minimum 1-year experience working with Attentive, Postscript, or another SMS marketing platform.
- Solid understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem (Paid ads, Organic Social, Shopify Apps, Influencer Marketing, etc.).
- Strong understanding of what makes copywriting and design “on-brand”.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
