FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Candidate must be fully conversant in the multi-currency version of QuickBooks with job costing allocation and minimum experience of at least 1 year. The candidate will be responsible for Trial balance, VAT, expenses, profit & loss, sales and purchase ledgers, invoices, Bank Reconciliation, Monthly Accounts, etc.

The Candidate will also be required to support an enthusiastic team in a day-to-day general administration. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is a key requirement. Candidates without strong Excel skills up to Pivots and VLOOKUP level will not be considered. A good command of the English language and a well-spoken telephone manner with excellent communication skills is essential. Applicant must be a Team player, highly organized, and capable of working under pressure, without supervision.

The ideal candidate must be part qualified or with experience of supporting Project management teams. Candidate should be capable of delivering financial reporting, financial analysis, and cost & spend analysis within a complex project management environment.

This is an onsite placement and working from Home or remotely is not applicable to this position.

Responsibilities:

Entering Data in Quickbooks multi-currency software

Create, update, and reconcile various project costs and generate reports

Knowledge of financial systems & processes

To prepare weekly and monthly project reports and reconciliation

Work with Project Management to deliver live and current cost-to-date information and cash flow reporting on a weekly basis

Review project actual ‘spend to date’ with project managers to provide full transparency and understanding

Supporting the rest of the team in general administration work related to Banking, accounts, insurance, and filing away related documents.

Requirements

Competent Knowledge of using QuickBooks multi-currency software

An eye for detail with good knowledge of Microsoft Excel applications and strong systems skills

An analytical and inquisitive mind with the ability to simplify financial data for non-financial colleagues

Highly organized and able to manage conflicting priorities.

Project accounting knowledge is desirable.

Strong Excel skills up to Pivots and VLOOKUP are necessary.
