FrenchSchool.ng is a pioneering online language platform dedicated to providing high-quality French language education to students across Nigeria and beyond. Our mission is to make French learning accessible, engaging, and effective for all levels, from beginners to advanced learners.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a creative and results-driven Digital Marketing & Content Strategy Specialist with a background in social media management, SEO, and content creation. This role will involve developing engaging content for our social media channels, managing our online community, driving targeted digital marketing campaigns, and creating SEO-optimized blog content to enhance our reach and influence. Basic proficiency in French is preferred to help align content with our audience’s interests in language learning and French culture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Social Media Management:
- Develop and execute content strategies for various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).
- Create and schedule engaging posts, stories, and multimedia content to promote our services and grow our online community.
- Monitor social media trends and implement best practices to increase engagement and followers.
- Engage with our audience in both English and basic French to foster a strong online community.
- Digital Marketing & SEO:
- Plan and implement digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media ads, and Google Ads, to drive traffic and enrollments.
- Conduct SEO research and implement best practices to improve website visibility.
- Write and optimize blog posts related to French language learning, culture, and industry trends.
- Track and analyze performance metrics for campaigns, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENT:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Content Creator, or Digital Marketer.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite) and analytics platforms.
- Excellent content creation and copywriting skills, with a strong understanding of brand voice and audience engagement.
- Experience with SEO, including keyword research and on-page optimization.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in French is preferred to support content authenticity and engagement.
- Knowledge of digital advertising platforms, such as Facebook Ads, Google Ads, and email marketing tools.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Basic graphic design skills or familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) is a plus.
COMPENSATION:
This position offers a competitive monthly retainer based on experience and qualifications, with performance incentives.
