Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (or 8:00 am – 4:30 pm); 40 hrs/week.
About the Role
We are seeking a Return-to-Work Specialist/Administrative Assistant for a remote position with a Third-Party Workers’ Compensation Claims Management company serving WA-based employers. Applicants must reside in the State and possess exceptional data entry, critical thinking, and analytical skills.

Work Environment:
Must have a distraction-free home workspace for company-provided equipment (PC Desktop, dual monitors).
Equipment pickup is required in Kirkland/Kenmore, WA.
Prior remote work experience is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Complete comprehensive training (live and self-paced) and demonstrate understanding and application of concepts.
Operate a virtual phone system for inbound and outbound calls.
Maintain and update internal electronic filing systems and utilize databases.
Assist with claims management:
Draft, review, and communicate critical documents in compliance with HIPAA laws.
Process claims, including reviewing and entering medical records, wage records, and related data.
Support return-to-work programs for employers following L&I guidelines.
Monitor compliance and provide progress reports to clients.
Analyze claims, research facts, and apply relevant policies and laws.
Support various departments, including management, marketing, and client relations.
Use Microsoft 360 programs (Outlook, OneDrive, OneNote) to manage tasks.
Execute special projects and report progress to management.
Minimum Qualifications Requirement
- GED, high school diploma, or college-level education.
Proactive self-starter with a strong work ethic.
Trainable and quick learner with strong data entry and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively through virtual platforms.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
Familiar with virtual faxing and online search engines.
Capable of managing confidential information securely.
